We use very few cookies, and none of them are for advertising.

1

What cookies are

Small text files a site stores in your browser so it can remember things between page loads. Nothing more sinister than that.

2

What we store

A session cookie when you are logged in, so the site knows who you are. WordPress sets this and it is deleted when you log out.

A preference for light or dark mode, stored in your browser so the site does not flash the wrong theme on your next visit. This never leaves your device.

A security token on forms, to prevent other sites submitting them on your behalf.

3

What we do not use

No advertising cookies. No analytics that follow you across sites. No social media pixels. No third-party trackers of any kind.

4

Turning them off

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block ours, the site still works for reading, but you will not be able to log in or submit an article.

5

Changes

If we ever add anything beyond what is listed above, we will update this page and the date at the top.
